Selling to the Government and How to register with the Feds

Do you want to grow your business? Have you considered selling to the government as a growth strategy?

Get the tools you need when the New Mexico Small Business Development Center, the San Juan College Small Business Development Center and the New Mexico Procurement Technical Assistance partner in sponsoring a free, two-session workshop on successfully selling to the government, Tuesday, February 25, at San Juan College’s Quality Center for Business, located at 5101 College Boulevard in Farmington.

The morning session, titled Government Contracting Basics for Business, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and will provide information on the fundamentals of doing business with government.

If after the morning session you’ve decided to look closer at selling to the government, you’ll want to attend the afternoon workshop titled System for Award Management. This hands-on demonstration of how to register as a vendor with government agencies will be offered from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

To register for the workshop, go to: http://www.nmptap.org/training-events/ptap-trainings/santa-fe-events/, call Elaine Palin at 505-428-1850, or the San Juan College Small Business Development Center at 505-566-3528.
